With this recession, who has the money to go to the mall and shop at Bloomingdales? I sure don't. It has been a while since I set foot in Bloomies with my wallet. Some young adults (including me) can't afford to go shopping like we used to.

We're at a particular age where as adults we need a serious job. Babysitting just isn't cutting it anymore.

I still want clothes though! Isn't there a happy medium?

Yes; I've got an answer for you fashion-deprived victims: Prima Donna's on Spring Street right here in Newton! Prima Donna's is a consignment shop that sells name-brand clothes and everything under the sun: Hollister and Abercrombie Jeans, American Eagle shirts, Express vests, Real and fake Coach purses, DSW shoes, all color belts, stylish hats, Talbot jackets, all kinds of jewelry, and even clothes for babies from Baby Gap, Children's Place, and more.

That's just a few examples.

Prima Donna's caters to all kinds of people and all sizes. The best part is the prices; these items are attractively priced. For example, a pair of American Eagle jeans, which usually go for $40, cost between $10 and $12.50 at Prima Donna's. They are super quality too.

Prima Donna's gets new clothes in all the time from consignors, and they fly off the racks. Come on, name brands with low prices. What's wrong with that? It sounds good to me.

I've gotten a Nautica argyle sweater, a vintage gray sweater, a Fossil sweater, a Valentino tie, and a bunch of other things. Trust me, I like good clothes. You will not regret walking in Prima Donna's and shopping on your budget. It's a fantastic place, especially in this economy.
