The Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg was rockin' on Saturday night thanks to American Idol season four runner up, Bo Bice. He packed the house and entertained all that attended. All ages from toddlers to seniors were present and jamming the entire time.

One of the youngest fans present for the show was five year old, Braedan Minnich of Reading. "He is the biggest Bo Bice fan you will ever find, since he was two years old," Braedan's father, Bob Minnich said. "He knows every single song. We are here more for him tonight even though we love Bo too."

Local band, "Gift Horse," opened for Bice. They had the theater hyped up and all ready for the lead act. Gift Horse has been performing in the area for over two years and has been at many other venues around Pennsylvania.
"I saw Bo in New York City and Atlantic City this week," Chris Brandow of Toronto, Canada said. "I came here to the Sherman Theater for his last show about two years ago." Yes, she came all the way from Canada just to see Bice.

Sherman Theater employee, Anthony Calderone said, "Bo is an awesome guy. He really appreciated the work that we did for him. I sold a lot of raffle tickets to his fans." The raffle tickets were to win an autographed Peavey electric guitar.

The big story here is not the concert or the raffle though. The big story happened even before the show began, almost two years ago.

Ten year old fan, Colin Franko of Tunkhannock, came to the Sherman Theater with his twin sister, Gracie and their parents to see Bice's concert in 2006. Franko has Autism, more specifically, Asperger's Syndrome.

Because of his Autism, he was unable to handle the noise of the concert and ended up watching the entire show with his mom from the glass doors in the lobby. He is a really big American Idol fan so it was very exciting for him to go to the concert.

The merchandise salesperson noticed that they were watching from the lobby and struck up a conversation with the mother and son. Once the show was over, he told them to stick around.

"Patrick the salesman set this whole thing in motion," Chris Brandow of Toronto, Canada said. "Had it not been for his act of kindness, this wouldn't have happened," Cathy Franko," she added, talking about a meeting with Brice that took place after the show.

Patrick had told Bice the situation and he wanted to meet Colin and his family. The family had the opportunity to meet Bice and hang out with him for a while. Colin was very excited about that.
